FoxMind.space community code
Last updated: 7 November 2025
FoxMind centers men’s experiences and welcomes sensitive and intellectual people of any gender who share this ethos. Our goal is a calm, non‑judgmental space where differently wired minds can rest, reflect, and reconnect—without pressure to perform.
By participating (reading, commenting, messaging, attending lives), you agree to this code.
Our core values
- Safety over debate — we protect people before ideas.
- Consent & curiosity — ask first; don’t prescribe.
- Privacy & dignity — share your story, not someone else’s.
- Compassion over performance — rest counts.
- Impact over intent — we moderate what harms, regardless of intent.
“You are allowed to be exactly where you are in your journey.”
House rules (what we practice here)
- Respect neurodiversity. There’s no “right way” to be neurodivergent. Masking isn’t required. Stimming, rambling, tangents, pausing, and over‑explaining are welcome.
- Support > solutions. If someone shares a struggle, lead with presence:
“That sounds hard. Thanks for trusting us.”
Offer strategies only if asked—or ask, “Would you like support or just to be heard?” - Ask, don’t assume. Avoid blanket statements about identities or needs. No unsolicited diagnoses or “you should” advice.
- No judgment or shaming. This includes subtle forms like tone policing, gaslighting, minimizing, or “at least…” comments.
- Zero discrimination. No ableism, sexism, racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or comparable harm.
- No toxic positivity / “just try harder.” Worth is not earned by productivity.
- Protect privacy. What’s shared here stays here.
- No screenshots, reposts, or quotes outside this space without permission.
- Respect pseudonyms; do not try to identify members.
- Remove identifying details from stories about others unless you have consent.
- Use content notes. If a comment may be triggering, begin with a brief tag like:
[content note: suicide ideation], [content note: abuse], [content note: self‑harm], [content note: eating disorders], [content note: medical procedures].
Share enough context to be kind; avoid trauma‑dumping without warning. - No spam or promotion without consent. This space is for healing and connection, not marketing. Sharing a resource is okay when it directly relates and you add context.
- Health & legal boundaries. Share lived experience (“what helped me”). No prescriptive medical/medication or legal instructions.
- Consent for DMs. Ask before moving a conversation to private messages; stop if someone disengages.
- Pauses are welcome. Lurking, disappearing, and returning are okay. Recovery and neurodivergent life are not linear.
How we moderate (what to expect)
We use a trauma‑informed approach and moderate impact, not identity.
Typical steps
- Friendly reminder (pointing to the relevant rule).
- Edit/hide specific lines or threads with a moderator note.
- Timeout/mute for repeated issues.
- Removal/ban for severe harm (e.g., harassment, slurs, doxxing, unsafe instructions).
Crisis content may be hidden with resources added. We are not a crisis service.
Timing: We moderate asynchronously from Europe. Best‑effort responses within 24–48 hours.
Reporting: Use the “Report” link or email moderation@foxmind.space with a URL and brief context.
Appeals: Reply to the moderator note or email within 7 days; we’ll review once.
Scope (where this applies)
- Public comments and replies
- Private messages related to FoxMind
- Live sessions/events hosted by FoxMind
- Email replies to newsletter posts
Language & tone basics
- Use I‑statements; speak from lived experience.
- Assume good faith; if harm occurs, name the impact.
Disagree with ideas, not people; drop the rope if a thread escalates.
Privacy reminders
- The internet isn’t fully erasable. We’ll honor deletion requests where possible.
- We redact identifying info if posted without consent.
- See the Disclaimer for platform‑wide privacy and scope notes.
Self‑promotion & links (details)
- Allowed when directly relevant and posted with context (why it helps here).
- Not allowed: affiliate links, repeated promos, or cold DMs to sell/co‑opt this audience.
A note for everyone who resonates
FoxMind centers men’s realities (energy limits, emotional labor, fatherhood, role pressure). All intellectual and sensitive readers who feel at home in this ethos are welcome to engage with respect and care.
